Cherry Chocolate Muffin Recipe
This sour cherry-chocolate muffin recipe will please both sweet palates and those who prefer fruitier flavors. And for anyone wondering, yes, this is the exact recipe we use right here in our shop!
Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup maple sugar or white sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs
3/4 cup milk
3/4 cup sour cherries
3/4 cup chocolate chips
Preparation:
In a bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Add the pre-melted butter.
In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and stir in the milk.
Fold the wet mixture into the dry ingredients.
Add the chocolate chips and sour cherries, fold gently, then transfer the batter to your muffin tins.
Bake at 375 degrees for 23 minutes
