November
November isn’t widely loved. The leaves have fallen, the sun is disappearing, the days are shorter, and we feel tired. We’ll share some simple tips and fun activities to enjoy this rather gloomy month of the year.
1. Grab a coffee
It’s no surprise we’re suggesting this activity. Obviously, leaving home helps lift your spirits. Sit inside sipping a nice, warm coffee while watching the world outside. Invite a friend to join you and chat about nothing and everything. There’s nothing better than watching the sunset while sharing lovely stories.
2. Cook comforting meals
Cook sweet or savory recipes using our products for your family, friends, or even your dog! We’ve already posted plenty of maple syrup-based recipes on our website. Go check them out!
3. Take a walk in a light jacket
The temperature is perfect for heading out without being too hot or too cold! The air is fresh and pleasant. There might not be any leaves left, but the needles on evergreen trees are still there. Take time to appreciate nature. At our farm, you can stroll along our developed trail. Plus, a map of the local trail network is posted at the entrance, and plenty of other trails stay open throughout November
4. Read a book
Escape into another world through a few pages. At our farm, we have a library where you can trade one book for another. The selection changes regularly, so stop by to see if any of them catch your eye!
So those are a few ideas for getting through November. What are your favorite tips for making it through this rather gloomy month?
