Ideas for sugar shacks to visit!
Maple sugar season means sugar shack meals! For our part, we are indeed a maple syrup farm, but we don’t offer any sugar shack meals ourselves. Instead, we serve pastries as well as lattes, cappuccinos, and iced maple coffee.
Here are our recommendations for planning your weekend!
- Cap Sugar Bush located in Lévis (Saint-Nicolas neighborhood) offers traditional meals as well as kids’ activities! You can even book directly online! How much easier could it get? To book: https://erabliereducap.com/
- Nathalie Lemieux Sugar Bush. And yes, we know it’s in Kamouraska, but what’s better than a weekend drive to then enjoy Nathalie’s wonderful sweet meals! Plus, if she’s on-site, you’ll easily recognize her by her contagious, energetic laugh! To book: https://erablierenathalielemieux.com/
- The Maple Bistro. Located in Sainte-Lucie de Beauregard, this sugar shack brings together three generations and uses local ingredients to create their menu! And if you feel like taking a stroll after your meal, the Parc régional des Appalaches is right nearby! To book: https://bistreauderable.com/
- Marcel Viens Sugar Bush located in Sainte-Claire: this maple syrup farm has been crafting their sweet gold for 50 years! They offer a menu you can view online! To book: http://erablieremarcelvien.com/
